The Hotel surroundings

The Esterel Massif
Discover the pine forest surrounding the Valescure Golf Hotel at the foot of the Esterel massif by using a Quad bike or a 4x4. You are accompanied on this drive along a signposted track by a guide from the National Forests Office. The pink and olive fauna and flora are a pleasant discovery.

Fréjus la Romaine
This archeological town, barely 6 km from the Velescure Golf Hotel, offers several nice walks, which you can find out about either locally or by using the itinerary from the hotel. The Roma aqueduct is 40 km away  (the orchestra stalls and remains of the Cavea can still be seen). The Amphitheatre dates from the 1st century AD. The remains of Auguste's lantern in the old Roman port in the west of the town and the Aurelian Villa can both be visited, as can the many other wonders listed amongst the town's 29 sites.

The Cocteau chapel The last chapel painted by the poet

The Templars Way

In addition to its current 5 sailing harbours, St Raphael retains several traces of its former status as an Eastern port.
The Templars Tower that overlooks the town, the Esteral massif, the hotel chapel, the 11th and 12th century Templars' church…their stones still have stories to tell.

Nautical town
5 nautical centres, 2 sailing schools, 6 diving clubs.

The Valescure Golf Hotel is a gem at the heart of the Côte d'Azur. There's no denying the French Riviera's reputation as a place for festivals, jazz, inlets and famous casinos. Valescure gives you the double benefit of a peaceful haven away from it all, but close to the main attractions.
